“I know everyone loves the movie (I like it okay) but, I really love the novel. Yes, I read it on my porch swing in autumn and was completely absorbed, experiencing it in a quiet, lonesome terror bubble. I fell in love with Ira Levin's writing and his believable, effective dialogue, dialogue so enticing, full lines were lifted from the novel into the movie, yet, Levin is not credited as a screenwriter. Ok, so maybe I have a bias against the movie because I just loved how much the novel affected me. I know Ira Levin worked closely with Polanski but, I just feel Ira should've gotten more credit! Anywho, it's a fairly short novel, one you can finish in a weekend. See what feelings this devilish little book conjures up for you ;)”
