“It's a beautiful summer day, you're in good company, and you're STARVING. It's nearing 4 pm, Bernie's opening time, and they take no reservations. Line up before 4 and get seated for an early dinner. Start with a caesar salad and/or wedge salad. Get a cheeseburger. Wash all of this down with several aperol spritzes, or dirty shirleys. Finish off the night with a mint brownie sundae (pictured). Throughout your meal, draw several crayon masterpieces on the paper tablecloth. Feel the fullest you've EVER FELT, but still find the energy to get yourself up to Transmitter park for sunset. THAT my friends, is how you enjoy arguably one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn.”
