“Every artist should have their own inventory system. You could just use an excel spreadsheet....or, you could subscribe to a cloud based system like Artwork Archive. I personally use this service. For newer artists, there are lots of professional practice resources, as well as the option to make your archive publicly available as a website with a built in audience. I find this easy to use, and the most useful features for me are location tracking and reports. You can also make custom PDF's to clients or curators.”
