“We always carry a CO2 inflator head and a CO2 for quick flat fixes. Our trick is to screw the head partway onto the CO2 but not enough that it punctures the cartridge and then use a piece of electrical tape to keep it in place. That way it's ready to screw on and go if you need to quickly inflate your tire after a puncture.”
