PracticaFirst to rec“We're speaking from a somewhat biased position as people who prefer the physical, especially when it comes to memory. It is hard to either a.) remember to check the to do app you've put your list in b.) set up a system of automatic reminders c.) not ignore said reminders. Sticky notes work because they wake your brain up. They're tactile, engaging, visible and, unfortunately to the chagrin of an over the top environmentalist (who we'd recommend 3M's recycled stickies to), they're delightfully disposable. There's also something real about the pressure to address whatever it is you're writing down before you amass an unwieldily number of stickies — digital lists can literally go on forever. Plus, nothing says 'done' like crumpling up a piece of paper and tossing it.”
