Craft Instant Espresso

“I know it's kind of uncool of me to be an instant coffee drinker, but I promise, this stuff is great if you, like me, are simply too lazy to do a whole thing every morning.”

“The only instant espresso that I'll drink. I've tried them all - Cafe Bustelo, Trader Joe's, etc. This is the only one that yields me a drinkable at-home iced latte. I might add that this option has a higher price point than the options I listed above, but (in my opinion) it's a splurge that's well worth it (especially if you don't have another at-home coffee making method). To make your shot, just take 1 TBSP of the espresso powder and mix it with 1oz hot water (I usually eyeball), and you've got a perfect shot (that has crema might I add)! Add milk or water depending on your beverage preference and you've got an espresso drink that came together in seconds. They also sell a pack of pre-proportioned sachets that are perfect for travel! I always take these with me on tour so I know that I'll be able to make myself a coffee first thing in the morning wherever we are traveling. (Although the larger-sized jar is definitely a better value!)”
