“Calling this a lamp is like calling Frank Lloyd Wright 'someone who designed houses'. This BEHEMOTH stained glass sconce commissioned by Carolyn Price for the Hillside Residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 1954. When Carolyn sold the Hillside residence in the early 2000s (boo), the sconce was removed and exhibited in a private museum for over two decades. This is the only example of this form known to exist, and it is completely fresh to the market, having never before been offered for sale. It's over four feet tall! You could move into a studio apartment, put this on the wall and call it a day without buying anything else. I'd happily sleep on the floor and gaze lovingly upward at my prized sconce.”
