“I have hyper mobility and couldn’t stand at the sink while pregnant — these weird and expensive squishy mats saved me. They’re like the black mats in kitchens except made of braided silicone string. The thinner width is more like a regular rug (but still helpful); the thickest squishy thing in front of a stove or sink does wonders. They take forever to arrive and aren’t cheap and eventually like after a few years get small holes from food which fill with dirt and don’t look great. Nevertheless I can’t live without them.”
