“The Tribeca location stays true to its ancient Roman bathhouse roots.”

“I loved loved loved the salt pool. There is a hook along the edge so you can float and hook your feet in. A truly weightless feeling that I still think about years later. Window shopping at Bode Womens and Merlette afterwards. Lunch at Frenchette or Dinner at Forgione (the chicken!) or The Tyger.”

“I found the one in New York way back in the summer of 2013 - when it was a reasonable 75 dollars or so for a 90 minute tour. But if you can swing the much increased prices, this is a beautiful soul connecting experience. Baths of different temperatures, salinity, bubbles or flat, all in a hushed atmosphere in the depths of a cast iron building. Candelight and mint tea. Worth it.”
