“We were in DC for a GBS/CIDP event and had only one night free for a dinner of our choosing. Paul (husband) stumbled upon Pearl Dive online. As soon as I saw "oysters," I was immediately in. What neither of us realized til we got there was that it's basically a New England/New Orleans fusion place. Couldn't have picked a better option for me: I'm a native NE-er, who lived for a decade in NOLA. A bit spendy, but DC is. Shared a dozen oysters. Not the way I'D make clam chowder, but delicious. Mussels also delicious. Paul loved his steak frittes. And the place is precious and the service was fantastic. 1/2 price wine bottles on Wednesdays. Woo-hoo!”
