“Every city’s got that tiny dive that’s unassuming and been around forever and somehow has a show calendar that rivals the mainstream venues’. Well, Pioneertown does, too, and it is called Pappy & Harriet’s. It’s an institution and you feel it when you walk inside. Go if a band you know or like is playing and you’ll remember the show for years. Go if you’ve never heard of the band to enjoy high vibes and undoubtedly great music. Bonus: they have food!”

“A legendary venue with a packed calendar so it’s usually pretty easy to see something and sometimes they’re pretty big acts! Bonus points if it’s outdoors. The space is very fun and usually the musicians are feeling a little less pressure out in the middle of the desert so they’re looser, maybe a little silly and just all around more relaxed. Can’t recommend seeing live music (and only seeing live music) there highly enough.”
