“I’ve loved Kim’s music for a long time, and this new album is something special. I’m soooo obsessed with this song specifically because it’s like… meditative in a high energy way? It has that rhythmic quality of Solange’s When I Get Home record but through a pop/punk sonic framework. I love what it means to her as a trans woman and yet it means something different (and very meaningful) to me — which I think is such a great quality in a song. God I love it!!! Might have to write about it at greater length on my Substack 🤭”
