“Starting this new collection off with a bang. I think Flux is my favorite ambient album ever. It’s the absolute perfect combination of soothing, minimal, repetitive, eerie, and warm lo-fi tape hiss. Robert made this album in 1981 and all exp music makers have basically been trying to catch up since. Turman is known for being a member of Boyd Rice’s NON band among other legendary industrial acts, but when I was in college at Oberlin he was working as a dishwasher in our dining hall and would play noise shows in the chapel every couple weeks. I feel blessed to have seen so much from truly one of the great experimental musicians of all time. Much love to Turman, idk this music is amazing enjoy.”
