MTV Unplugged in New York

“There are a bunch of full albums I'll listen to all the way through from MTV Unplugged... 10,000 Maniacs and Eric Clapton to name two. But the one I listened to non-stop-on-repeat as a 90's teen was Nirvana. There's a guest cellist, a Meat Puppet strumming his guitar with a quarter, Krist on the accordion, a solo by Kurt, and several cover songs that are my personal faves. Incidentally, it's being released on vinyl by Interscope at the end of October.”

“this is what my momma played while cleaning growing up, i knew if i heard this playing it was time for me to organize the shoe closet.”
