“Eric Carmen is an incredibly underrated musician. He wrote Hungry Eyes from Dirty Dancing and All By Myself, but I think he is not talked about nearly enough. Famously, All By Myself is based on the second movement of Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto, but my favorite Carmen piece based on Rachmaninoff is Never Gonna Fall in Love Again, based on the third movement of Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony.
