“When I lived in Paris and had no money I used to dream about Merci bedding, now it turns out to be almost always on 40% off and the percale (I don’t mess with linen or gauze bedding) are the best sheets I’ve tried. Somehow they stay eternally perfectly crunchy but soft. They come in beautiful colors that get updated seasonally but I’ve kind of come full circle to be a white linens purist again. I think they’re a great deal and I also use the flat sheets as couch covers, they’re huge. (AND the 26x26 pillow covers get used on the couch!)”
