Point Cloud (Terry Winters Exhibition)

“One of the best panting show I’ve seen in years was Terry Winters’s Point Cloud show at Matthew Marks in 2024. Whenever I’m stuck in my own work I go back to Winters and his writing about abstraction, nature, and his “visualized geometry.” Of his point cloud work, Winters says: “The forms suggest the collective behavior of animals, such as the murmuration of starlings and the schooling of fish.””
