“david and dan quit their day jobs over a decade ago to brew one beer and brew it good, and my tastebuds thank them for it endlessly. true to their roots, they still have a limited brew list with only a handful of year-round regulars and a few seasonal ones that cycle, but they’ve hit the bar for brewing each one really well across the board (and added a wood fired pizza oven that will knock your socks off). if you live in the area, their adorable freeport, maine taproom hosts wednesday community pizza nights in the summer where 20% of all food sales go directly to a featured local non-profit organization; or for those passing through town or purchasing through a retailer, their partnership with 1% for the planet donates 1% of their annual gross sales to environmental and community non-profits and keeps philanthropy as a pillar of their culture. and the cherry on top of the paragraph of praise sundae, they also make adorable merch!”
