EllenFirst to rec“Back in 2013, Supreme ripped off visionary artist Barbara Kruger and then proceeded to sue another brand (RHONY alum Leah McSweeney's Married to the Mob) for ripping off the design they ripped off of Barbara. When asked for comment, she replied with a blank email with a Word doc attached (already iconic) titled fools.doc (the iconery intensifies) that said, “What a ridiculous clusterfuck of totally uncool jokers. I make my work about this kind of sadly foolish farce. I’m waiting for all of them to sue me for copyright infringement.” I try to work "a ridiculous clusterfuck of totally uncool jokers" into my speech at least weekly. It's apt, succinct and nearly universally applicable in our sad world of today that is riddled with totally uncool jokers.”
