“I found this poem in 2023 on a museum pamphlet in Paris and for the life of me can’t find it published anywhere else! (I’ve linked a different Paris Poem by Myles) here is the poem incase the image quality is too low. My favorite part, “I’ve missed the whole brouhaha about conceptualism because I am sleepless & corny isn’t that enough” a little dog afraid of lightning stands up to speak hey MUTT be brave I felt an empty spot with all the men standing outside the bookstore Notre Dame never was so brave and the river have you ever been here before. Yes I was when I was a kid wasn’t Paris just a man who loved a woman too much that’s how the story goes I am starving & the traffic is slow. I’ve missed the whole brouhaha about concept ualism because I am sleepless & corny isn’t that enough must I lay down my heart I brought my chalice up right to the fountain hi Alice and I drank.”
