“For sure my favorite bathhouse I’ve ever been to. It’s spotless, has a gorgeous setting both inside and out, and both the staff and clientele are extremely friendly to non-Japanese visitors. If this is your first time visiting a sento or onsen, just review the rules and be extra courteous to those around you. (A note: they’ve now apparently opened another location, which I haven’t been to. I’d trust it to be very nice as well, though part of the reason I love Kosugiyu so much is that it’s in one of my favorite neighborhoods. Worth checking out Koenji either way!)”
