“on the morning of the third day after my 21st birthday i sat with my head between my knees on the very narrow steps of market square jewelers after a significant number of drinks at wusong road brunch, (which had started about 11 hours after i made friends with the bartender at a spot by the longfellow bridge who gave me a truly incredible amount of rum drinks) and tried with every ounce of strength i had to not vomit on the visibly horrified families of prospective harvard freshman.
i had been ring shopping with my mom inside the store until i genuinely could not continue both standing up and not making a fool of myself at the same time. after taking aforementioned break, i went back inside, they offered me ice cold water without saying a word (lifesaving) & i purchased two rings, one of which i’ve worn pretty much daily ever since.
anyway. big love to the ladies at market square jewelers. delightful selection, quality goods.”
