“Speculative future historical fiction written in an academic approach but accessible, inspiring, and captures the feeling and zeitgeist of what a revolution might be like, injuries, troubles, and all.”

“Evokes Station Eleven - you're submerged in the end of the world, but somehow buoyed by the details of the beautiful things that emerge on the other side. The oral history format gets a little tedious (towards the end, we encounter a precocious teen, and I gave a big sigh). Creative, inspiring (??), new.”
