“OMG! What the hell why did nobody tell me how good this was! Between watching this and 9 to 5 in the past couple months, I've developed a newfound appreciation for 80s era movies... like why were they low key more groundbreaking 40 years ago than the stuff being made today??! Genuinely want to know!! 😭 A radically refreshing rejection of the usual stale tropes we see on screen about sex work, this film depicts the mundane realities of women's labour. It serves as a reminder that - in one way or another - we are all selling our time and bodies to survive under capitalism. Sorry but it's true!”
