“You are not moving to Paris for the weather. Choose your preferred color way of their "long jacket," and never look back. I moved to Paris in September, and my Parisian husband-to-be immediately took me to the Marais to pick out a rain jacket at RAINS. I'm still wearing and loving this jacket, 7 years later. My husband loves his (he prefers the short version), and my mom also bought the long. You can always get a trench coat in addition, but there will be many days and weeks when you will be very happy to have this utilitarian rain jacket.”
