I Never Promised You a Rose Garden

“A must read for fans of the Bell Jar, Donna Tart, or classic psychological fiction in general. I Never Promised You a Rose Garden by Joanne Greenberg follows the story of Deborah as she battles with schizophrenia and depression in a mental hospital. It is a dense but relatively short read, my favorite book in the world!”
