National Geographic Expeditions

“Next time you are in the initial trip planning phase, comb through guided expedition offerings. These itineraries are a goldmine of logistical considerations and, because people want to know what they are paying tens of thousands of dollars for, give a detailed day-by-day playbook of activities, transportation, hotels, guides, etc. These are especially useful when helping an elder relative or a friend traveling to an area you are unfamiliar with. Nat Geo is far from the only adventure trip purveyor; I just happen to get their catalog in the mail. Just click on the trip details button for a detailed breakdown of the prospective trip.”
