Original Orange Pekoe Tea

“Roseheads know. Huge splash of milk. Maybe a bit of sugar. Steep for 2 min max unless you're a psycho. My grandma used to made it for me and it bonded me into a lifelong friendship with a Craigslist roommate. I haven't found a place to buy it in Seattle so when friends come to visit from Canada they bring me a box and it delights me every time.”

“Since before I was born and to this day my mom has drank a cup of hot tea every morning and night. Red Rose is what she’s drank as long as I’ve been around. So for around 30 years my mom has exclusively drank this tea and so have I. It’s the best one I’ve had. It’s nostalgic and good and it used to come with little figurines that my mom would give to my younger brother. I really think they should bring that back. My mom is a whole milk girly so she’d make it with a splash of milk and two spoonfuls of sugar. I do the same now, but with oat milk. And I don’t typically do sugar in my daily treats anymore but I still do it with this.”
