“I am a lover of table books. I hate how many I have when it’s time to pack up and move apartments, but when I light my candles and sit on my couch and see a table book winking at me it really makes me feel at peace. Having table books also makes me feel like an adult (can’t explain why, iykyk).
One of my favorite table books is Buffalo Magazines 16th edition, Buffalo Hotel Chelsea. If you love a cocktail of NYC history and modern NYC figures, I recommend! I have the Patti Smith cover (there are quite a few to choose from, but at this point I think you’ll have to hunt to get your hands on one). Finding one of these is worth it! The interviews are delicious and it doesn’t feel tacky “reminisce on the good old days of Just Kids New York”. Also you get a Chloe Sevigny shoot, which is always a win!
