Final Fantasy IX

“This game is great, and it’s all about lil’ cuties. The stakes work, there is real tension and surprise, but there isn’t a brooding teen or a world ending biological nightmare or even all that much foreground power fantasy. It’s one of my favorites, a sort of road not taken with the Final Fantasy storytelling, and I’d encourage you to give it a try.”
