after tons of research on reddit, i purchased this kit on amazon. i am by no means a diy diva, but this seemed simple enough – and seriously, it was. i had to stand out on my fire escape, a little worried i'd fall, but i DID IT! i haven't felt this accomplished in so long! moral of the story: if it's a relatively minor thing, try to fix it yourself! you'll feel AMAZING!”
