“One of my favorite ways to travel! Heart of Travel organizes small group trips to many Latin and South American countries, emphasizing local artisans, non-touristy experiences, and bonding with other travelers.
I’m a big travel planner myself, but having been on two HoT trips to Cuba and Colombia, I know I would NEVER have been able to plan such fun and meaningful trips myself. They work with local guides who take care of you: make sure you feel safe, ensure you have an incredible time, and seriously become ongoing life friends (if you want that!).
Especially good for: solo travelers; women of all ages (my Cuba trip was 10 women aged 25-65!); travelers who prioritize experiences, culture, and food.
