“It seems like so many people have read 1984 by George Orwell but not so much Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, who I recently learned taught George Orwell at Eton College. I decided to read Brave New World after seeing it mentioned in the forward of Amusing Ourselves to Death by Neil Postman. “What Orwell feared were those who would ban books. What Huxley feared was that there would be no reason to ban a book, for there would be no one who wanted to read one.” Terrifying.”
