“I really didn’t want to like New Wash, because it’s not cheap, but I love it. My hair is curly (3b/c) and coarse and I use the Rich version. When I’ve used other creamy, co-wash type cleansers, I would eventually get product buildup and need to use a shampoo. Not so with new wash! I’ve used it exclusively for years now. The beta is this: you have to use a lot more than you think. Like a nice big palmful. Then really scrub your scalp like you mean it, and add splashes of water as you go. Leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.”

“Takes a minute to learn to use properly, (I wish they said on the bottle to have your hair SOPPING wet before using, and then to WAIT two minutes before trying to detangle) but once you do, nothing else will do for curly hair.”
