“Dolly’s Vintage on Main is the original big vintage shop in town, and Sara Spisseu is the second. She started out at the Mothership next to Motorco with a little booth back in the early 2010s, and now has a large shop in the West End.
It seems like everyone in Durham sells vintage these days, and the vibe can be a little too cool.
But Sara is a pure ray of sunshine, totally unpretentious, and her shop is amazing for midcentury finds and a truly delectable selection of vintage clothing from all eras. She also has sections for men and kids.
It always brightens my day to stop in. She has great prices. Also highly recommend following her on insta and shopping online.”
