“I used to work here as a tech assistant and intern. Jane Goodall approves, need I say more? Also where Zoboomafoo lived. This is a sanctuary, not a zoo, meaning the priority is to serve the endangered species over the public. I highly recommend all the tours, even the standard/least expensive one. But if you can go into the NHE (natural habitat enclosures) or visit with the aye aye’s, totally worth every penny and your money goes to an amazing cause. As a dog person, my favorite lemurs are the black and white ruffed lemurs followed by the mongoose lemurs. My least favorites are the catta (ring-tailed), because their personalities are the most cat-like!”
