“For more than a decade, my partner has been working to make this telescope a reality. He’s an astrophysicist who studies black holes and supernovae, and he believes the Roman Space Telescope could fundamentally change what we understand about the universe, especially dark matter and dark energy. Why is the universe expanding the way it is? Are we alone? Roman might help us answer some of those questions. We flew to Cape Canaveral a few days ago to watch her launch. This photo was taken the morning of the launch. Super proud of my partner. Keep your eyes on Roman. She’s coming for some very big questions!”
