“There is an artist here who sells the most exquisite wire creatures - mostly bugs, but some birds and crustaceans, as well. She doesn’t come every day, and usually only in the afternoons (at least last time I was there); if you ask the other vendors, they’ll tell you if she’s expected that day. I went back to Oaxaca years after first seeing her and tried to find her every day I was in the city, without success - until the last day, when she was there. All the other stalls are lovely, too.”
