Glendale Library, Arts & Culture: Memory Lab

Most public libraries have some kind of media lab these days with good archival equipment. If you’re based in LA, the Glendale library as a nice maker space/memory lab that has high quality espon flatbed scanners available to take home. Also sewing machines and a 3D printer! The downtown library has an even better media lab, but they tend to have less availability.

The original AI! Adobe Illustrator still stands apart because of the many, many features. I used it to digitize drawings for years. I’m sure there is an AI (non Adobe Illustrator) tool that can do it all, but Illustrator gives you control.
