My favorite is the John Lewis mural on State Street. Go to the site for a map of all of them. Great way to explore the city and see some amazing art along the way.

Rochester's Lilac Festival runs in May each year. We're lucky to have multiple Olmsted parks here, Highland Park being one of them. There are over 1200 lilac bushes planted here.

Mount Hope Cemetery

If you're traveling to Rochester, NY, someone will inevitably tell you to a) go to Wegmans and b) go to Mount Hope Cemetery. Absolutely stunning in the fall - beautiful at all times of the year. Come and weep for the current state of affairs at Susan B. Anthony's gravestone.

Another must in Rochester. The food menu rotates weekly and the specials are must-try. Rotating taps of their own beers, as well as guest spots from other local breweries and cideries. Fun people watching on Mt. Hope.

If you ever find yourself in Rochester, NY, especially in the warmer seasons, this dive on South Avenue has a big backyard for cocktails outside, movie nights on Tuesdays, craft night on Mondays, and it's the home of the Pabst-Smear - a PBR and a cheap shot for under $5.
