something normal in your family that you found out is actually unhinged? thought my whole life that licking a q tip before using it was normal and found out only a few months ago that is, in fact, mildly psychotic behavior

i always thought this was normal growing up because i would watch my dad do it but when i started requesting ice in my wine as an adult i got a lot of skepticism lol and i was like wait isn’t this normal?!
