Question

Nitabel · Answer

Smith Island Cake: Quintessentially decadent Americana hailing from Maryland. Heavily augmented yellow cake box mix divided into an impossible-seeming number of layers and stacked a mile high with dense, chocolatey frosting and salty Reese’s between every layer. Rich, moist, moreish, and guaranteed to make eyes pop when sliced, making it the perfect birthday cake for chocolate-and-peanut-butter lovers.

Sally’s Baking Addiction Chocolate Cake: Our amazing friend who is a talented baker made this for my wife’s birthday and we were obsessed. This year she was out of town so we made it ourselves and it was so fantastic. We did it as a sheet cake but the moistness and flavor are unreal.
