8 Days of Hanukkah - Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings

i am not jewish… i am simply nothing… but i live in a proudly jewish household which means 4 things:

1. i have a go-to challah recipe

2. i have a go-to latke recipe

3. i learned the hanukkah prayer by reciting it to myself on every morning walk i took for a full week

4. we blast this song while we make the above recipes during the holiday season.

after years of searching for the best hanukkah songs to add to my holiday bangers playlist, this is the crown gem so i must explicitly recommend a listen. the whole album is full of hits FYI
