anti-motion sickness dots on iphone

when i was pregnant just breathing made me nauseous so my motion sickness in the car got approximately 1000000x worse. i don’t get exactly why the dots work but the dots work and i love the dots.

to turn them on: accessibility > motion > vehicle motion cues > automatically in vehicle. and you can change the color (mine are pink)

I recently had occasion to try these for the first time and was amazed that they worked! Instead I got a mild headache but maybe that was just coincidental dehydration and in any case beats the heck out of queasy!

I have a vestibular disorder which explains my lifelong battle with extreme motion sickness. I tried the dots on a train and still got sick. For me, no devices in moving vehicles, ever, is the rule!

I know you can make the dots bigger or smaller and change the color. Mine are just in greyscale, and it’s been helpful to me in Ubers and on the train. They also pop on automatically, which is cool.”
