Thank you for your validation and also yes HUGELY beneficial call out there with the warning. With great progress comes great pain, newfound awareness and general exhaustion. Undeniably worth it but still couple steps back to take 100 forward energy.

EMDR truly changed my life. I’m so grateful for it. At the time, it also kind of wrecked me in the process and then I came out the other side better off. So, echoing the cavets— time and space is really needed to move through all of it.

EMDR destroyed me in-process, but it also made ptsd flashbacks more surprising, occasional intrusions than frequent, daily interjections, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
