Mount Desserts Pies

Every year, we start at the Salt Cottages at Bar Harbor and go down the road to pick up two pies (one Maine blueberry, one strawberry rhubarb) from this delightfully unpretentious bake shop. We slowly devour these over the course of the week for breakfast, after dinner, and it is simply the perfect taste of summer.
