San Miguel’s cobblestones are gorgeous, uneven and entirely uninterested in your heels or leather soles. Pack cushioned sneakers or sturdy sandals with GRIPPY soles. The town is casual, so don’t even bother with anything more than a ballet flat for dinners as you’ll want to saunter home post dinner in the moonlight. Your ankles will thank you.
