The Red-Orange bowl effect

This is the kind of vintage piece we can often score at a yard sale or a church thrift shop that ends up being the One Thing that makes a little corner or room in progress Just Right. There’s something strong and clarifying about seeing that color punctuate any negative space and just light up a room. It’s a relief to know that occasionally, with a good cleaning/clear-out and one single happy bowl or dish in the shade of a perfectly ripe summer tomato, it can be just the perfect, tiny thing to do the trick. 🍅
