I got my first pair of rimless glasses the other day and my life is changed. Not only do I look and feel more swag, I can literally see better because my peripheral vision isn’t being blocked by a thick frame. I used to be someone who hated wearing my glasses for long stretches because it would feel like horse blinders, especially when I had headphones on. I’ve been wearing my new pair and they are so much more comfortable. I love my pair from Cubitts too because of the metal detailing.

Elemental Facial Barrier Cream

(From a former Aesop employee). Elemental is a super underrated skin care product. A sensitive-skin-suited barrier cream with a matte finish. I layer this over my retinol at night and under my sunscreen during the day. Typically, Aesop recommends this to people in cold or very dry climates, even sometimes for winter sports. But I’ve found it’s perfect as a daily moisturizer for NYC winter months and have even stuck to it in the summer at night to prevent dryness from air conditioning. Obviously not for everyone but worth giving it a shot!!

I journal (basically) every night before bed and for the past two years I’ve been going to one specific book store in the west village to pick these journals up in person. They are lined with a space for the date on the top and a little margin. They’re also bound in really nice quality linen canvas material and the strap to keep it shut is very satisfying.
