Westport Cafe understood the assignment. šøš¦Ŗ The food, the drinks, the atmosphereā¦ all incredible. But John Adams was the highlight of the night. Funny, knowledgeable, passionate, and just an absolute delight. I recently read Unreasonable Hospitality, and one line that stuck with me was āItās cool to care.ā John is exactly what that means. He genuinely loves what he does, and you can tell. He walked us through the menu like he was sharing his favorite things with friends, made us laugh, and made the entire experience that much better. Good food is easy to find. People who make you LOVE where youāre eating? Thatās something special. John, if you see this, youāre a legend. Westport Cafe, take good care of this man. šš¼

Okay, this is not new news. Everyone already knows and loves her. Set your alarm and get the reservation. One of the best parts? THE PRICE. $20 handmade pasta plates?! In this economy?! The atmosphere is just as good. It really doesnāt get much better. Also, if you have the chance, book a pasta class! Grab your friends, your man, your mom, your sister, whoever. It was such an intimate, fun experience and honestly so reasonably priced for what you get. A perfect night out that doesnāt require spending a fortune.

I am a Mediterranean food girly through and through, and Clay & Fire is THAT girl. The food is SO good, everything tastes fresh, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always great. As someone with PCOS, I love a meal that feels nourishing and leaves me feeling good instead of like I just ate a bunch of junk. Iām literally in heaven every time I eat here. I want to gatekeep this place so bad, but everyone deserves to know about it. Also, you donāt need a reservation!!
